2.  You start with $5.12.  You bet half your current holdings on a 50-50 proposition 6 times.  That is, on each bet you either lose all the money you bet or you win twice the amount that you bet.  You win exactly 3 bets.  How much do you have in the end?

4.  In the east fork of the Bitterroot River drainage basin, 76 elk calves were fitted with radio collars, as part of a 2012 mortality study.  Of those 76 elk calves, 17 died:  6 were killed by mountain lions, 4 were killed by black bears, and 2 were killed by human-related factors. The cause of death for the remaining 5 could not be determined by the researches.  Based on the results of the study, what percentage of elk calf mortality can be attributed to mountain lions?
5.  A spring survey flight over the east fork of the Bitterroot River drainage basin in 2015 counted 4,323 elk.  Researchers reported that 14 bulls were counted for every 100 cows and 25 calves were counted per 100 cows.  How many bulls, cows, and calves were spotted?
