Mac's Homework Policy
You should not spend more than 90 minutes per night doing homework.  This time should be budgeted in the following manner:

10 minutes looking for your assignment notebook.

10 minutes contacting a classmate for the assignments.

25 minutes explaining to your parents why Mac is mean and just wants to make life miserable for you.

8 minutes in the bathroom (longer if you are a girl).

10 minutes getting a snack.

7 minutes checking out the television

10 minutes telling your parents that Mac never explained the assignment

10 minutes sitting at the kitchen table waiting for Mom or Dad to do the assignment.
Special rules for "Long Term Assignments"

These are given the night before they are due.  This explains the name "Long Term."  It is a long term commitment to time that begins at 7:30  PM and ends at 10 PM (or later).  It is important that the whole family is involved in the project. It is imperative that at least mom or dad races to the store for supplies, and that at least one family member ends up in tears (preferably mom or dad).

Either Mom or Dad needs to stay up and complete the project.  The other parent needs to call the school and leave a message that their child will be out sick the next day.  As with other assignments it is not necessary to put your name on the assignment.
